"For the post-distribution monitoring, I want a precision of ± 5 points at 95% confidence, with an unknown expected proportion. Allow for 10% non-response. I had thought of a cluster survey of 10 households per cluster with a design effect of 2. The enumerators will be the distribution staff, they know the households."
- Are you satisfied with the amount and the distribution times? (yes / no)
- How much did you receive?
- You did use the money to buy food, didn't you?
- What did you eat?
- Did you have to give part of the money to someone? (question asked in front of the village chief, who accompanies the team)
- Do you know the hotline number? (yes / no)
- Full name, telephone number and identity card number of the respondent.
Result
0 out of 100
Mark each answer honestly against the panel's grid: the total is calculated automatically.
Common mistakes that cost marks
- Forgetting the finite population correction or applying it after the design effect without saying so.
- Applying a design effect to a simple random sample.
- Keeping distribution staff as enumerators.
- Correcting the form of the questions without seeing the confidentiality problem in question 5.
- Recording an SEA allegation in the survey database.
