Common mistakes that cost marks
- Comparing the burn rate with time elapsed without looking at physical progress.
- Applying a linear projection to one-off purchases.
- Calculating the 15% ceiling on the giving line instead of the receiving line.
- Reallocating funds intended directly for households without approval.
- Waiting until the end of the project to report delays to the donor.
