- You may use a calculator or a spreadsheet. Show your workings: a correct result without workings receives only half the marks.
- Use the district assumptions given in document 1, even if they differ from those you know. Round percentages to one decimal place.
- Any outside help (another person, artificial intelligence) is forbidden. Scripts containing identical passages are disqualified.
- The documents are fictional but built on realistic data. Do not make unjustified assumptions; if you make one, state it.
Original practice test, built on the format of written tests used by United Nations agencies and international NGOs. The context and figures are fictitious.

Rules: adjusted average monthly consumption (AMC) = consumption over the 3 months / (90 - stock-out days) × 30, rounded to the nearest unit. Safety stock = 1 AMC. Maximum stock = 3 AMC. Quantity to order = maximum stock - stock at 30/09 - quantity on order, rounded up to the next pack size. Monthly order to the district store, delivery within 2 weeks.
Result
0 out of 100
Mark each answer honestly against the panel's grid: the total is calculated automatically.
Common mistakes that cost marks
- Calculating the AMC without excluding stock-out days.
- Ordering without deducting quantities already on order, or without rounding to the pack size.
- Confusing the dropout rate (relative to Penta1) with the difference in coverage.
- Interpreting a single month as a trend.
- Considering the gap between ACTs dispensed and confirmed cases as normal during the malaria season.
